Higher Airspace at SESAR Innovation Days 2020 - Higher Airspace ECHO 2 Project

Higher Airspace Operations will be one of the topics discussed at this year’s SESAR Innovation Days that will take place online from 7th to 10th December. On 9th December, from 14:15 to 15:30 there will be a global panel on this emerging topic. More info on the panellists will be available soon.

The SESAR Innovation Days (SIDs) are the main vehicle for SESAR Joint Undertaking to share progress and disseminate exploratory research results. Unlike other scientific events in air traffic management (ATM) research, the SIDs focus explictly on long-term and innovative research. Organised annually since 2010, the SIDS have become a landmark event in the European aviation research calendar. The SIDs will be further strengthened with the support of Engage, the SESAR knowledge transfer network.

The aim of the 2020 event is to showcase results from European exploratory research and to discuss how to advance promising concepts towards industrial research within the SESAR innovation pipeline.

The ECHO and ECHO 2 projects have received funding from the SESAR Joint Undertaking under the European Union’s Horizon Europe innovation programme under grant agreements No 890417 and No 101114697.
